About

Bartiga is a modern Australian restaurant, wine and cocktail bar with Southeast Asian influences on the corner of Short and Bay Streets in Double Bay. It occupies the former Cafe Perons site, connecting a longstanding neighbourhood location with a new dining direction.

Co-founders Charlie Kelly and chef Faheem Noor draw on local history and Noor's culinary experience to create a menu with Asian flavour influences. The official website offers food, lunch, dessert and banquet menus, so guests can plan anything from a casual lunch to a group dinner.

Bartiga also takes enquiries for events and functions and promotes scheduled brunch experiences. Book through the official website, checking current menus, service times and package inclusions. Speak to the team about dietary needs and larger groups before making arrangements.

I recently visited Bartiga Sydney with a group of friends and had such a great experience from start to finish. The new menu is delicious, the prawn pasta was 10/10 – it was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. The staff were fantastic throughout our visit; friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable The location is also a big plus! It’s in a great spot and has a really nice atmosphere that works perfectly for a dinner, lunch, or bottomless brunch with friends or even a special occasion. Amazing experience, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or living in Sydney.

Absolutely incredible. Without a doubt one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The Asian-inspired menu was creative, fresh, and full of exciting combinations that worked perfectly together. From the first bite to the last, every dish impressed us. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every single plate is exceptional, but this was exactly that. The service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made the experience even more memorable. We left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates amazing food and unforgettable dining experiences.

Had a great night out tonight. The manager checked on us throughout the meal, attentive without being overbearing, which made a big difference. The cocktails were execellent, and the bar tender even came out himself to serve them, a nice personal touch. Food wise, everything was really good, but the standout was the Tom Yum lobster pasta, an off menu dish recommened to us that ended up being the highlight of the meal. Prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Only regret is that we were too full to try the dessert, but will defintiely be back to try that. Great all round!

Decent place for a brunch lunch. It does have outdoor seats however much cosy in one of the booth looking seatings, and a great way to sit side by side with your partner. Fresh oysters, great butter to scallops, betel leaf was Mrs favourite, & duck bao was super. Prawn pasta in the mains was only ok, however a generous serving lucky we were sharing. Good drinks offering too.

One of the best meals we’ve had in Sydney, if not all of Australia. Every single dish was exquisite, you can taste the quality of the ingredients, and the flavours are perfectly balanced. Service was excellent throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely return!
